At Eva’s, every plate tells a story of legacy, warmth, and generous love passed down through generations. Named in honor of Chef Charlie Perry’s great-grandmother Eva Coombs, this intimate Salt Lake City restaurant blends comfort with sophistication — where French technique meets New American soul, and every dish is prepared with reverence for quality ingredients and the simple joy of sharing a meal.
For this shoot, I wanted to honor Eva’s European-inspired aesthetic by embracing warm, soft lighting and rich, inviting color tones that reflect the restaurant’s soulful and comforting atmosphere. My goal was to capture the golden glow of fresh bread, the vibrant depth of their fresh produce, and the intimate, welcoming feeling of gathering around the table — creating images that feel both timeless and deeply appetizing.
From golden-crusted breads baked fresh at their French-style boulangerie to vibrant, flavor-forward plates meant for sharing, these images celebrate the nourishing pleasure of eating well at Eva’s.
